When my hair is wet I use melted coconut oil , olive oil and honey and massage thoroughly into the scalp. Then I would use about a palm size amount of mayo on the ends. I cover my hair with a shower cap and leave in overnight. And I shampoo and rinse out in the morning and towel dry. I don't use conditioner since the coconut oil and mayo have conditioning effects.

I want to scrunch my hair for summer but my hair has been getting relaxed bone straight since i was 2 lol any tips?

Thanks for the information. I have not t been taking care of my hair lately. I admit when I finally wash my hair it is extremely dry and tangled. I felt hopeless trying to detangle it so I just opted to cut the matted areas out. My hair is very dry now and matted but I feel confident that this will be very helpful and lead to far less breakage and hope. Thanks again this will help me more than you will ever know

I wish I found your page earlier in my natural hair journey. We have pretty much the same hair. Length, density and texture! Not very common. Anyway I just ripped my hair out detangling it dry after not having combed it in like 5-7 days. Smh

Michelle B. Thank you so much lovely lady you are absolutely right about everything. You don't need to trim your hair after every relaxer touch up. Oiling your hair from midshaft to your ends and wrapping your hair every night before bed protects your hair from breakage. You do have to listen to your hair. Some products may not work for your hair. Even though I use quality products I had to return some of them. Thank you for your advice and God bless you.
